I graduated in Dec. 2007. We actually had a class together if I remember correctly. Acts of the Apostles with Carl Holladay, I think on Tuesday nights, Fall of 2006?

When I was at Candler a few year ago I had a class on second temple Judaism with Walter Wilson. One day, he was talking about ancient Greco-Roman novels. He said that often the plots of these novels revolved around star crossed lovers...and pirates. The way in which he said made the whole class break down. Not so sure what is so funny about pirates, but it was. Pirates. Yeah, that is funny.
