Even in your post you expressed caution and some reservation about finding parallels in the Rabbinic literature. I was simply stating that looking for parallels in Rabbinic texts can offer very profitable returns when done carefully. Keep up the good work.</description>

I do plan to be careful about using anything from Rabbinic literature to illuminate Yeshua&#039;s context. In fact, the article I refer to basically says none of the Rabbinic parables are from the early period of Rabbinic literature. I will be getting around to that later. I just mention this because, while perhaps not intending to, you implied that I was not being cautious.
