Christopher Skinner Interview

Mike Grondin and Andrew Bernhard have jointly interviewed Christopher Skinner, the author of John and Thomas—Gospels in Conflict? Johannine Characterization and the Thomas Question (Eugene: Wipf & Stock, 2009). Skinner also recently started an excellent blog called Peje Iesous (Coptic for Jesus said). In the interview, Skinner addresses topics related to his book, which questions the thesis that the Fourth Gospel contains a response or polemic against a Thomasine community.

Update: April DeConick responds to Skinner’s interview here. This is getting interesting!

Update 2: Skinner responds to DeConick’s response here.
