I admit that “[s]ource criticism has left the poor Didachist as a confused compiler who had no theology to offer his readership&quot; is a bit too strong,   Perhaps I felt entitled to a little rhetoric of my own!  Source criticism has value, of course, but I just don&#039;t believe it has proved to be the best method to lead the way forward in studying the Didache.</description>
