There is a new blog of interest to those associated with Candler School of Theology called Dear Candler. I’ve been following it on RSS for about a week and have appreciated its strangely funny content. Roughly half of the posts are quotes heard around campus by students and faculty alike, which is a healthy reminder to be careful of what you say because it might just end up on a blog somewhere.

Calvin’s 500th Birthday

Many other bloggers have and will note that today, July 10, marks John Calvin’s 500th birthday. I’ve posted a happy birthday cake in his honor:

Name that Manuscript

From time to time bloggers have posted a manuscript and for fun had their readers identify it. For example, see this copy of the Codex Hierosolymitanus on the Evangelical Textual Criticism blog, or Mike Bird’s posting of Vaticanus. So, for fun, I thought I’d post something here and see who the first person to identify it is.
